It always helps to have some of the “basics” on hand. Here are some of the foods that celebrity wellness guru Jackie Warner suggests you keep in your pantry, refrigerator, and freezer at all times.

Pantry

  • Almond butter
  • Almonds
  • Bananas
  • Black beans (canned)
  • Black olives (canned)
  • Chickpeas (canned)
  • Chili poweder
  • Corn (canned)
  • Cumin
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Flaxseed oil
  • Instant brown rice
  • Instant oats (large package, not the single-serve)
  • Pepper
  • Pineapple (canned, no sugar added)
  • Pine nuts
  • Quinoa
  • Rice cakes
  • Sea salt
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • Walnuts
  • Whole-grain bread
  • Whole-grain pasta
  • Whole-grain tortillas (six-inch size)

Refrigerator

  • Avocados
  • Bean sprouts
