Post-Workout Smoothie: Optimal Orange

A delicious shake to get you back on track.

Oranges, an often-ignored sensation, will instantly boost the powers of any drink. Enjoy this refreshing citrus taste while you slurp on this smoothie that’s nothing but good for you.


(Serves 1)

1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 banana, sliced
1 orange, peeled
1 ⁄2 cup vanilla non-fat yogurt
1 ⁄2 cup orange juice with added calcium and vitamin D
3 ice cubes

Directions: Pour orange juice and yogurt into a blender, then add the remaining ingredients. Blend for 30 to 40 seconds and serve.
